TypeRules! was a whole class effort of around 24 students. Groups of 3 to 4 were formed in order to spilt up typographic rules and to create cohesive signatures. Above is my contributions to the project. The challenge was organizing and sharing working files across platforms since the course was 50% in person and 50% online. My group chose to collectively use distortion and a color palette of pink, yellow, and blue to create our cohesive look. The rules shown above include jump text, linked text, and quotation etiquette. The full signature had a dual purpose as book spreads and a poster. Below is the my group's signature.
